There are many type of heating gas boiler

There are different kinds of Central Heating Systems that can be purchased in the market. A gas boiler, radiator and pipework are common components in many of these Central Heating Systems, they are simple in plumbing terms.

Whilst we need heating systems air conditioners are not needed in the UK and Europe because of the average temperature throughout the year. Most of us need a decent heating supply far more; this is why the majority of new homes that are being built in this day and age are built with a Gas Central Heating System.

Central Heating is essential, particularly whens winter is heading our way. A heated home has a comfortable and enjoyable feel to it. So you want to be sure that your Central Heating System is dependable. A good heating system should inspire confidence, give value for money and be simple to operate.

There are two main types of Gas Central Heating Systems; pumped/vented and sealed systems.

You will find pumped/vented systems in most homes at the moment. The pumped/vented Gas Central Heating Systems have an expansion tank and a feed. The tank supplies your house with hot water and provides the heating radiators with heat. The tank makes way for any water expansion that is caused by the heating process. It is normally placed at the highest place of the house like the loft area, taking up space. The tank provides a dual supply of hot water and warmth for the house.

Many homes feature a pumped/vented Central Heating System, particularly the ones constructed several year ago.

A Sealed Gas Central Heating System is a relatively modern technology, and is being adopted by many homeowners today. This system doesn’t have water tanks as it’s a closed heating system, this will save you space and reduce maintenance costs as there are fewer components. The attic has no tanks or piping, the system is completely enclosed and locked, it’s not ventilated, and that has its advantages:.

- There is no risk of pipes freezing in the loft as with older systems.

- loft space is freed up and pipe maintenance is reduced.

- The risk of leaks is decreased.

- Reduced risk of airlocks, corrosion and sludge as there isn’t a chance of air being drawn down into the system through open vents as the system is sealed.

- Can be flushed out under pressure if needed by the mains water supply.

A sealed Central Heating System is a system with the required controls and safety equipment all contained in one. The mains water supplies the water required for the sealed Gas Central Heating system. The pressure of the main water supply benefits the hot water outlets and gives a healthy shower.

Separated from the sealed system by a diaphragm is a pressure vessel, which contains compressed gas; this vessel is responsible for managing variations of pressure in the heating system. A safety valve will let water to escape or fill up depending on whether the pressure becomes too high or too low respectively.

Gas Central Heating Systems are worth the money as they are cheaper to run than any other form of heating. They also provide you with complete control which is much more than other heating systems can say about themselves.
